吉村直美さんのセカンドアルバム用の録音を聴かせて頂いた。今回のアルバムのテーマは「夜」ということでそれに相応しい選曲をされている。演奏は素晴らしく繰り返し聴きたくなるものだ。今回の録音は単に演奏がよいというだけでなく、ドイツで培われた音楽が、彼女の中に生き、帰国後さらに多種の経験を伴って今回の演奏に濃縮され、表現されている。副題に静寂と情熱と書かれている。彼女の持つ冷静さと秘めた情熱も伝わってくる。さらには、彼女は今回のＣＤを通してお世話になった内外の人たちに愛情と感謝を伝えるメッセージを演奏に込めたのであろう。ファーストアルバムから10年、この間彼女の音楽は格段と大きくなった。

I had a pleasure to listen a fresh recording made by Pianist Naomi Yoshimura for her second album. She selected the pieces well suited with the subtitle of the album called "Night Dreams of Stillness and Passion". She played them so wonderfully that you would want to listen them repeatedly. This recording shows not only her great musical talent, but also it expresses her new flavor of music excellently blending what she learned in Germany with what she developed after returning to Japan. As it describes "Stillness and Passion" in the subtitle it shows her good personality of inner calmness and passion, and moreover it shows her hidden message to send her gratitude and love to all the people with whom she was acquainted and by whom she was supported at home and abroad. Her music became remarkably advanced in these 10 years after she made the first album.
